Queens Brunch :: Hosted by the DASH Collective

WE ARE STILL BEAMING WITH JOY and excitement OVER the success of LAST WEEK'S INCREDIBLE QUEENS BRUNCH! HATS OFF and crowns raised IN APPRECIATION TO ALL OF OUR MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS, AUNTS, SISTERS AND SISTER-FRIENDS WHO JOINED US!

LED BY GOD AND HOSTED BY DESIREÉ BENTON OF THE DASH COLLECTIVE, the queens brunch WAS HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 9, 2015 IN ST. PAUL, MINN. this was an intimate, invite-only gathering.

The Queens Brunch was created to celebrate and honor the importance of women in our lives and communities. It is meant to be a relaxed and loving space for ladies, ages 15 and older, to grow personally and professionally and connect with other inspiring and encouraging women.

Highlights of the Queens Brunch included good eats and treats, assorted beverages, professional and fun photography, networking, fellowship, motivating dialogue, enlightening conversation, uplifting entertainment  and endless knowledge.

Attendees were encouraged to wear stylish, spring ensembles and required to top it off with their best big hat (crown)!

It's a blessing to be a blessing. I thank God for placing such an event on my heart. I am honored that those women who attended the Queens Brunch trusted my vision enough to gather in this space and be vulnerable. This allowed us to build deeper friendships, wholeheartedly relate and form positive life connections.

Women shared their stories about their personal and professional journey, their trials, their victories and their walk with God. Most smiled and laughed, some cried tears of joy and healing, all were grateful for the experience."
