Black & White Day Party Presented by Nardo Wardrobe Consultants :: Minneapolis, Minn.
Nardo Wardrobe Consultants hosted its first Black & White Day Party on August 2, 2014 at Loring Kitchen & Bar in downtown Minneapolis.
This event was hosted in partnership with Patrick Henry high school of north Minneapolis in an effort to collect new and gently used bow and neck ties to support Patrick Henry's annual "Tie Day."
Patrick Henry's “Tie Day” initiative focuses on encouraging its male students to wear a tie to school on a specified day. This is done in an effort to teach young males the importance of presenting themselves in a professional and well-dressed manner.
The program for "Tie Day" consists of a series of classes and notable speakers to help build self-esteem and confidence, and to prepare the students for life beyond high school.
To donate new or gently used bow and neck ties for future "Tie Days," please contact Quinton Bonds, coordinator at Patrick Henry high school.
